Verification tiers and limits

How much you can move through Guap depends on how much you've verified. There are three tiers. You start at Tier 0 the moment you sign up, and you can upgrade in the app whenever you want more room.
Limits apply across everything — buying and cashing out at a Teller and sends alike. They cap how much you can move, not what it costs; for costs, see fees.
The three tiers

| Tier 2 — Enhanced | Everything in Tier 1, plus address, occupation, and source of funds | TT$68,000 (~US$10,000) per transaction, TT$204,000 (~US$30,000) per 30 days |
Tier 1 is the standard tier for most people. Tier 0 is enough to try the system; Tier 2 is for higher-value use.
How to upgrade
- Open the Guap App and go to Settings → Verification.
- Follow the prompts for the tier you want. Tier 1 takes about 3 minutes and is usually approved instantly.
- Tier 2 is reviewed by our compliance officer and typically takes 1–2 business days.
