The Guap App is your wallet, your dollar account, and your remote control for the Guap Teller — all in one place. It holds USDB, Guap's digital dollar (1 USDB is designed to equal 1 US dollar), alongside Bitcoin, USDT, and USDC.

The Teller only works with the Guap App — no other wallet can buy or cash out at the machines. So this is step one for everything else.

Sign up

1. Open the app and enter your phone number and email.
2. Follow the prompts. Basic verification — your name, date of birth, and phone — lets you transact small amounts right away.
3. For higher limits, verify your ID under Settings → Verification. See limits and verification tiers.

There's no waitlist — sign up and you're in.

Your two addresses

Guap gives you two ways to receive money. Which one you share depends on where the money is coming from:

• Guap address (starts with spark1…) — for receiving USDB from another Guap user, though usually your username alone is enough. Find it under Add Cash → USDB.
• Lightning address (looks like yourname@guap.to) — for receiving bitcoin from outside Guap: Strike, exchanges, any Lightning wallet. Find it under Add Cash → Bitcoin Wallets. (Cash App is different — it has its own flow.)

Back up your keys

Guap is non-custodial: only you hold the keys to your money. That's the point — but it means we cannot recover your funds if you lose them.

1. Open Settings → Backup.
2. Back up with Google Drive or iCloud.
3. Do it now, before you load money — not after.

What you can do in the app

• Buy USDB with cash at any Guap Teller — it lands directly in your app
• Hold and send USDB, USDT, USDC, and Bitcoin
• Cash out to TT$100 bills at any Teller
• Send and receive to any Lightning address (yours: yourname@guap.to)
• Find the closest Teller and check today's rate
• Track your balance, transactions, and rewards
